The Firm at a Glance
The Firm’s Founding Intent
“The firm intends to establish itself as the most sought-after partner in value creation that matters most by solving the client’s strategic problems.”
That is the firm’s founding statement. It shapes every mandate we accept, the way we staff each engagement, and the standard we hold ourselves to. The firm is not built to operate at scale. It is built to operate at depth — with senior accountability, partner-led delivery, and a methodology that exceeds engagement expectations rather than merely meeting them.
Nothing is left to chance. The professional who signs the report is the professional who has done the work. That is the firm’s operating standard, and the standard our clients have come to expect.
The Partners
RKLCMA is led by three partners whose disciplines align across the firm’s full mandate set — finance and audit, taxation and law, and technology. Each engagement is supervised by the partner most directly accountable for the work. Each partner’s name appears on the engagement letter for the work they lead.
Founding Partner · Cost, Audit, Forensic
CMA · CIA · CISA · CFE
A Cost and Management Accountant of the 1996 batch of ICAI, holding three further international certifications — Certified Internal Auditor (IIA, USA, 2009), Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA, USA, 2010), and Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE, USA, 2011). The combination is held by very few professionals in India.
Most recently served as Group Internal Auditor at ABB Limited, the Swiss-Swedish power and automation group, covering North & South Asia, India, the Middle East, and Africa. Earlier corporate roles include Lead Auditor at Convergys India (now Concentrix), Assistant Manager at Amtek Auto, and Senior Audit Officer at JK Industries.
Since founding RKLCMA in 2020, has led partner-supervised engagements for clients across listed real estate, organised retail, consumer-facing businesses, design and lifestyle, and the Indian subsidiaries of global multinational groups. Particular depth in risk-based internal audit (IIA PPF), FCPA anti-bribery reviews, SOX and ICFR control effectiveness, SAP and ERP control review and process management, and forensic investigation under ACFE methodology.
B.Com (Hons.) — University of Delhi (1994). Leads the firm’s Risk-Based Audit & Assurance, Cost Optimisation & Business Process Management, IT & Technology Audit, and ERP Process Management practices, and personally leads every engagement.

Technology Advisory Partner

Holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow (Strategy, Finance & Marketing, 1996–1998) and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. Former Chief Information Officer and Chief Digital Officer at PVR INOX Limited. 25+ years of senior technology leadership across media and entertainment, financial services, telecommunications, and retail.

Currently founder of KNetAI (Agentic-X), a specialist practice building AI-powered systems for enterprise process automation. Advisory scope at RKLCMA covers technology cost governance, software licence and vendor management, ERP and data architecture, AI-driven process optimisation, and digital operations — bringing the perspective of someone who has made these technology investment decisions at scale, not merely reviewed them.
Leads the firm’s engagement on IT and ERP controls, technology cost governance, and AI-based automation — positioned as Technology Advisory Partner under the firm’s primary CMA mandate.
The Team
Beyond the three partners, the firm operates a flexible pool of qualified and semi-qualified professionals — Cost and Management Accountants, Chartered Accountants, and B.Com (Hons.) graduates — sized to the requirements of each engagement. The team is small by design. We do not staff to fill capacity; we staff to deliver outcomes.
Cost and Management Accountants (CMAs) and Chartered Accountants (CAs) drawn from leading institutions, supporting partner-led delivery on every engagement.
CMA and CA Inter, alongside B.Com (Hons.) graduates from the University of Delhi and equivalent institutions, providing analytical depth on substantive work.
Domain specialists in SAP and ERP review, AI and automation, and forensic analytics, brought in for engagements requiring specific technical depth.
Engagements are staffed deliberately, with a senior team led by the accountable partner. Headcount on an engagement is set by the work, not by the day rate.
Where We Work
The firm operates from offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, with the partner present at each location on cycle and engagements led personally from whichever city is closer to the client’s operations. The founding partner’s prior role at ABB covered Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, and that exposure shapes the way the firm approaches multinational engagements today — whether the client is a listed Indian group, an Indian growth-stage business, or the Indian subsidiary of a Swiss, American, or European multinational.
Indian Clients
Entertainment and consumer-facing businesses, organised retail, real estate, manufacturing, energy, and technology — across NSE and BSE-listed entities and large unlisted groups.
Multinational Clients
Multinational subsidiaries operating in India — across consumer goods, manufacturing and process industries, technology, and energy — where the engagement is led to the standards expected by a global head office.
Growth-Stage Clients
Indian businesses scaling through the transition from owner-managed to professionalised — where the discipline of an institutional control environment and the rigour of a partner-led practice produce disproportionate operational value.
How We Work
Six operating principles shape every engagement the firm accepts. They are not aspirational. They are how the work is actually done.
Every engagement is led, reviewed, and signed by the accountable partner. There is no leverage pyramid between the client and the analysis.
The firm’s methodologies are built in-house on the foundation of the IIA Professional Practices Framework, COSO Internal Control, COSO ERM, the ACFE methodology, and the relevant Indian statutory framework.
Every mandate begins with a mutual non-disclosure agreement executed before any data is exchanged. No exceptions, no informal previews.
Evidence retention, working-paper indexing, and partner-review disciplines codified into the firm’s manuals — defensible under External Quality Assessment and statutory audit alike.
The firm accepts a deliberately curated set of mandates — those where we can move the needle on a problem that matters. We decline what does not fit.
Engagement expectations are not just met; they are exceeded. The professional who signs the report is the professional who has done the work.
If your problem is one we can move the needle on, you will know by the end of the call. If it is not, that will be communicated as well — with a thoughtful view on who could.
